1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of massage therapy services provided by Aure Wellness, a sole trader business operated by Alicia Walls.
By booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services Provided
Aure Wellness offers the following massage therapy treatments:
- Swedish Massage
- Lymphatic Drainage
All treatments are provided for wellness and relaxation purposes. Our services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
3. Booking and Appointments
3.1 How to Book Appointments can be booked through our online booking system (Timely) or by contacting us directly.
3.2 Booking Confirmation Your booking is confirmed once you have:
- Completed the online booking form
- Paid the required 50% deposit
- Received a confirmation email
3.3 Consultation First-time clients must complete a consultation form via Timely Consult before their appointment. This helps us understand your health history and ensure treatments are suitable and safe.
3.4 Accuracy of Information You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information in your consultation form. Please inform us of any changes to your health status before subsequent appointments.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing Current treatment prices are displayed on our website and booking system. Prices are subject to change, but any booking made will honor the price quoted at the time of booking.
4.2 Deposit A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
4.3 Balance Payment The remaining 50% balance is payable at your appointment.
4.4 Payment Methods We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit/debit card (via Timely)
- Bank transfer
4.5 Receipts A receipt will be provided upon request after full payment has been received.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
5.1 Cancellation by Client You may cancel or reschedule your appointment by contacting us via email or through the Timely booking system.
5.2 Cancellation Notice Period
- More than 48 hours notice: Full refund of your 50% deposit
- Less than 48 hours notice: Your 50% deposit will be forfeited
- No-show: Your 50% deposit will be forfeited and the remaining balance may be charged
5.3 How to Cancel To cancel or reschedule, please:

- Use the cancellation/rescheduling function in your Timely booking confirmation
- Provide as much notice as possible
5.4 Cancellation by Aure Wellness We reserve the right to cancel appointments due to:
- Illness or emergency
- Unforeseen circumstances
If we cancel your appointment, you will receive a full refund of any payments made and the opportunity to rebook at your convenience.
6. Late Arrivals
6.1 Treatment Duration If you arrive late for your appointment, your treatment will be shortened to fit within the remaining scheduled time. This ensures we can maintain our appointment schedule for other clients.
6.2 Full Payment Required The full treatment price applies regardless of late arrival or shortened treatment time.
6.3 Please Arrive on Time We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow for check-in and preparation.
7. Health and Safety
7.1 Your Responsibility You must inform us of:
- Any medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns
- Any medications you are taking
- Pregnancy or recent surgery
- Allergies or sensitivities
- Any changes to your health since your last appointment
7.2 Contraindications Massage therapy may not be suitable if you have certain medical conditions, including but not limited to:
- Acute injuries or inflammation
- Infectious diseases
- Severe circulatory conditions
- Recent surgery (without medical clearance)
- Cancer or undergoing cancer treatment (lymphatic drainage is not suitable)
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Deep vein thrombosis
7.3 Medical Advice If you are unsure whether massage therapy is suitable for you, please consult your GP or healthcare provider before booking.
7.4 Right to Refuse Treatment We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if:
- You have not disclosed relevant health information
- We believe treatment may be unsafe or unsuitable
- You behave inappropriately or disrespectfully
8. During Your Treatment
8.1 Professional Conduct All treatments are conducted in a professional, respectful manner. You will be appropriately draped with towels at all times, and only the area being treated will be exposed.
8.2 Communication Please communicate openly during your treatment about:
- Pressure preferences (too firm, too light)
- Comfort levels
- Any discomfort or pain
- Temperature (too hot, too cold)
8.3 Consent You have the right to stop or modify your treatment at any time. Please let us know if you feel uncomfortable or wish to end the session.
8.4 Inappropriate Behavior Any inappropriate behavior, requests, or language will result in immediate termination of the treatment without refund.
9. After Your Treatment
9.1 Post-Treatment Advice You may experience:
- Mild soreness or tenderness (normal after deep tissue work)
- Increased thirst
- Temporary fatigue or relaxation
- Increased urination (especially after lymphatic drainage)
9.2 Recommendations After your treatment:
- Drink plenty of water
- Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours
- Listen to your body and rest if needed
9.3 Concerns If you experience any unexpected reactions or have concerns after your treatment, please contact us.
10. Limitations of Liability
10.1 Nature of Service Massage therapy is a complementary wellness service and is not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
10.2 Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aure Wellness shall not be liable for:
- Any injury or adverse reaction resulting from failure to disclose relevant health information
- Aggravation of pre-existing conditions not disclosed prior to treatment
- Indirect or consequential losses
10.3 Insurance Aure Wellness holds professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
11. Privacy and Confidentiality
11.1 Data Protection Your personal and health information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR regulations.
11.2 Confidentiality All information you provide is treated as confidential and will only be used for the purposes of providing safe and effective treatment.
11.3 Treatment Records We maintain treatment records for 7 years in line with professional and insurance requirements.
12. Gift Vouchers
12.1 Validity Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
12.2 Redemption Gift vouchers can be redeemed by booking an appointment through our booking system and providing the voucher code.
12.3 Non-Refundable Gift vouchers are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person.
12.4 Balance If the treatment value is less than the voucher amount, the remaining balance will be forfeited. If the treatment costs more than the voucher value, the difference must be paid.
13. Complaints and Feedback
13.1 How to Complain If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us at alicia@aurewellness.co.uk. We take all complaints seriously and will respond within 7 working days.
13.2 Resolution We will work with you to resolve any issues fairly and promptly.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
